As the Angels mourned for the dead,
I took delight in their sorrow,
And celebrated the coming storm.
Through the eyes of the Gods,
I celebrated the damnation of Man.
And when the Moon had bled dry all the Earth,
I scoured the ruins for those that remained.
She came like a blazing fire,
From the Sea she rose,
Hauling the dead behind her.
And rode with her seven thousand men foretold,
Whose hearts were full
Of scorn and hatred.
Like merciless vermin,
That burden every sleepless night,
Eyes glazed with blood,
And hearts fraught with wickedness.
They came to bring suffering and death.
Bereft of all humanity,
Only pain and sorrow they sought.
As I watched the last of their victims scrawl amongst the dust,
The skies were filled with an immeasurable terror.
From the Castle ruins,
One by one, they fell.
Upon the ragged rocks,
They drew their last breath.
For such was the horror that filled their souls,
The awakening of the Sea,
The maddening cry of a thousand men.
Bring forth their wretched souls to me
My heinous Queen of oceans.
Gather together all of those you've slain,
Bring each and every poorly soul,
Lay there beneath your Altar.
And scavenge they will,
Each and every corner,
For great sorrow and grief
Is all they will find.
Let me share in your victory,
For I have revelled in your vile deeds,
And tasted your bitterness for Mankind.
Listen then, the violent chimes,
That echo from the mountain tops.
They have signalled your cause,
And sealed their fate.
For the harrowing winds shall not even mask,
The piteous cry of peasants.
As I dwell upon such lugubrious fate,
Of that you have inflicted upon Man.
Misery and all the consequences.
It is then I shall look,
Look towards the Clifftops,
And envision the Angels of darkness.
Such pleasure does fill my soul,
To see how the innocent scavenge,
Amongst the desolate ruins.
I felt no pity for their despicable lives,
The sickening sound of wailing souls.
For the dead,
The Angels shall not mourn,
No compassion is in them,
No sadness or remorse.
Bestow upon me your wealth,
From the pitiful lives you have taken.
And wield your sword,
Into the voids of Hades,
They shall be cast.
How wearisome they had become,
Of battles fought and battles lost.
Send them to the Gallows at once,
For such pleasure will fill my soul.
Their flagitious ways,
I'll suffer no more.
Amongst the desolate ruins they will lie.
The Angels shall not bewail their hapless plight.
Goddess of Seas and afterlife,
Of all you have consumed,
The lands are dead,
Into dust, the dead have perished.
